If you want to be an Army Officer, then start thinking like an Army officer when are under age or started preparing for it. You are soon going to get everything which you have dreamed for.
If you want to be an officer in Indian Army, then you have two options for a 10+2 pass i.e.Entry schemes or by graduation entry schemes.
10+2 Entry Schemes
- By clearing NDA exam followed by SSB :- NDA is conducted twice a year. There is no criteria for number of attempt. After you have done 12th class, you can apply until you are selected or over age. So if you will start preparing for it during the appearing status in 12th, you will get it from here.
There is no rules says that only a PCM student can apply in the exam, but if you are one of those then the knowledge of maths and science will help you for the exam qualifying. This will improve your chance of clearing the exam.

- TES (Technical Entry Scheme) :- To Apply for the TES , you must be a PCM stream student. As the entry is technical in nature, there will be criteria for the selection that is based on the marks obtained in the Physics, Chemistry and Maths for merit. If you marks are higher than the masses, then you will be called for the SSB. The cut-off is about 84%, but if you scored more than you will be called for the SSB.
- Graduation Entry Schemes :- There are lot of variants in the entry i.e. CDS, TGC, AFCAT, UES etc. All of these mentioned are different from this.Some are for Engineers too. Getting a call from SSB is not that important, the most important and difficult is to clear it.
So if you still interested to go in the Army as Officer, then you must choose one path from these and start preparing for the worst condition to get your best.
